How Does Switchable Smart Film Operate?
Switchable film is an elastic layer applied to existing glass for results just like smart glass. It is made of liquid crystal particles that change their orientation in response to electric current, shifting between transparent and opaque states.

What is switchable smart film?
Switchable smart film is a thin PDLC (liquid crystal) film applied to existing glass. When electric current passes through it, the film turns clear; when the current is switched off, it turns frosted for privacy.

Yes. The film is applied directly onto your existing windows, doors, partitions or glass ceilings, so there is no need to replace the glass. It can be fitted to glass of almost any shape or size.

What sizes can you cover?
Our film can be applied up to 1.8 metres in height and up to 50 metres in width, depending on site accessibility and safety requirements. One transformer covers up to 25 m² per room.
